This award recognises organisations that have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture over the past 12 months. It celebrates organisations that prioritise employee wellbeing, foster diversity and inclusion, embed social responsibility into their operations, and create an environment where employees feel supported, valued, and empowered to perform at their best. The winning organisation will demonstrate how workplace culture is embedded across the business through leadership, strategy, and measurable outcomes. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for clear information, backed up by evidence, that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Workplace Culture & Leadership: Demonstrate how your organisation fosters a professional, supportive, and inclusive workplace culture. Include leadership approaches, communication strategies, employee involvement initiatives, and recognition programmes that reinforce organisational values and drive engagement.
  • Employee Well-Being & Work-Life Balance: Outline the health, wellbeing, and benefits programmes that support employee wellbeing and work-life balance. Explain how these initiatives contribute to productivity, retention, job satisfaction, and overall employee experience.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI): Provide evidence of policies, initiatives, or leadership actions that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Demonstrate how your organisation supports equal opportunities, inclusive practices, and representation across all levels.
  • Social Responsibility & Community Impact: Show how your organisation integrates social responsibility into its culture and operations. Highlight initiatives in sustainability, community engagement, employee volunteering, or industry advocacy, and outline their measurable impact.
  • Measurable Outcomes & Results: Provide clear evidence of success through employee engagement surveys, retention rates, DEI metrics, or other relevant performance indicators. Include year-on-year comparisons where possible and outline actions taken to address feedback and drive continuous improvement.
