This award recognises organisations that have successfully implemented a culture transformation initiative resulting in meaningful and measurable organisational change over the past 12 months. An effective culture transformation can have a significant impact on employee engagement, performance, collaboration, and overall organisational success. This award celebrates organisations that have addressed cultural challenges, embedded new behaviours, and delivered a structured transformation that enhances both employee experience and business outcomes. The judges will want to understand the drivers behind the transformation, the strategy implemented, how it was delivered, and the tangible benefits achieved for both employees and the organisation. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for clear information, backed up by evidence, that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Transformation: Background & Objectives: Provide background on the organisation including its size, structure, and operating environment. Outline the cultural challenges or business needs that prompted the transformation and clearly define the objectives of the initiative. Demonstrate how these objectives align with wider organisational goals and priorities.
  • Strategy Overview: Detail how the culture transformation strategy was developed, including key stakeholders involved, leadership commitment, and the overall approach taken. Explain how the strategy was designed to address the identified challenges and how it aligns with business objectives.
  • Implementation & Employee Engagement: Provide an overview of how the transformation was implemented and communicated across the organisation. Demonstrate how leadership championed the initiative and how employees were engaged throughout the process, including communication strategies, feedback mechanisms, workshops, or participation initiatives that supported adoption.
  • Innovation & Change Management: Highlight any innovative approaches, tools, or frameworks used to support the transformation. This may include new ways of working, behavioural frameworks, digital tools, or structured change management methodologies. Explain how resistance to change was managed and how the new culture was embedded and sustained.
  • Measurable Outcomes & Cultural Impact: Provide clear, measurable evidence of the success of the transformation. This may include improvements in employee engagement, retention, collaboration, performance, or alignment with organisational values. Include year-on-year comparisons where possible, and outline how feedback and data have been used to drive continuous improvement.
