Industry NewsRobinson Grace HR Consultancy marks 15 years with new hires and Construction Equipment Association partnership
Swindon-based Robinson Grace HR Consultancy is celebrating 15 years in business, marking the milestone with two new team appointments and a strategic partnership with the Construction Equipment Association, expanding access to outsourced HR and employment law support for SMEs across the UK construction equipment sector. The anniversary is relevant to HR professionals and business owners tracking how specialist consultancies are evolving their service models to meet growing SME demand.
As reported by Yahoo News, the firm was founded in 2011 by Louise Skittrall, who established the consultancy on the basis that HR advice was too often overcomplicated for the managers who needed it most.
Skittrall said: "Fifteen years ago, I started Robinson Grace HR because I'd had enough of HR feeling harder than it needed to be. Too many acronyms, too much jargon, and too many 'meetings about meetings' were getting in the way of what managers actually needed: clear, practical advice they could act on."
She added that the firm has grown largely through word of mouth, and that welcoming two new colleagues and partnering with the CEA are both significant steps in continuing to invest in client service.
The partnership with the Construction Equipment Association followed direct feedback from the CEA Strategy Day the previous summer, where SME members identified a need for more accessible HR and employment support.
Viki Bell, chief executive of the CEA, said: "This partnership gives members access to straightforward, professional advice when they need it, without adding unnecessary cost or complexity."
