Pineapple Recruitment is marking its third anniversary after placing more than 2,000 people into permanent roles since launching in 2023, giving HR and talent acquisition teams a view of how a young Midlands agency is diversifying beyond its catering and hospitality roots.

Pineapple Recruitment, led by Kasia Krieger, director, is a Worcester-based recruitment firm specialising in catering and hospitality, finance and HR, and education, with more than 10 recruitment specialists in city-centre offices.

The strategic logic is diversification beyond a founding specialism. The firm launched in catering and hospitality and now runs two further divisions, covering finance and HR, and education.

Kasia Krieger, director at Pineapple Recruitment, said: “Overall, more and more businesses are putting their trust in us to find the best and most qualified professionals to support their own growth plans which rely on the right recruitment and attraction strategies.”

The structural driver is a difficult recruitment market. Krieger said it is well known how tough the recruitment sector has been over the past few years.

Krieger added: “To have that growing client base across the UK gives us a wonderful foundation for the next three years, by which time we want to add more jobs and increase our national footprint.”

The firm moved to larger offices in Worcester city centre in October 2024 and plans a further move in the coming months, with a formal announcement on the new location expected before the end of the year.

Its Finance & HR team, based in Worcester, recruits permanent roles across the UK, from finance managers, accountants and chief financial officers to HR business partners, working with organisations including SMEs.

Roles recruited include catering and hospitality managers, front-of-house staff, sommeliers, finance directors, headteachers and SEN TAs.

The business has grown its nationwide client base, supporting employers of all sizes to attract and retain skilled professionals.

For the sector, the anniversary shows a specialist agency adding two further divisions to extend its client base, with further hiring and national expansion planned.
