OrgLogic, LLC, a US-based strategic HR consulting firm, has launched a governance-first framework to guide responsible AI use in human resources.

Annette Hooker, founder and Fractional CHRO at OrgLogic, said, “AI can be a powerful decision-support tool in HR, but only when it operates inside clear systems with accountability.” She added, “When organizations apply AI without governance, they don’t reduce risk. They amplify it.”

The firm’s trademarked OrgLogic Framework™ provides structured workflows, clear decision authority, and robust HR data systems designed to support scalable AI adoption while maintaining ethical and legal compliance, Hooker said. “Responsible AI in HR is not about doing things faster,” she said. “It’s about ensuring decisions are explainable, consistent, and aligned with organizational values.”

Walmart Chief People Officer Donna Morris highlighted AI’s potential as an assistive tool in HR. She stated, “You’ll be surprised at how close the actual sources that they come up with align with people who we’ve actually considered.” Morris emphasised that AI should enhance human-led decisions rather than replace them.

McKinsey & Company has also highlighted generative AI’s role in HR, noting it can “supplement and streamline human resources and performance management” while underscoring the need to keep “a human in the loop” to maintain fairness, consistency, and insight.

Hooker stressed that organisations must define clear governance structures before deploying AI-supported workflows. “As AI becomes more embedded in HR, the question leaders must answer is not whether to use it, but how,” she said. “Our role is to help organizations answer that question with clarity, structure, and responsibility.”

OrgLogic works with growing and complex organisations to stabilise people operations, reduce compliance risk, and strengthen leadership effectiveness through its governance-focused HR methodology and AI guidance.
