US-based employee wellbeing company Navigate Wellbeing Solutions has launched its Workforce Mental Health Initiative, offering eligible employers one year of one-on-one Mental Wellbeing Coaching at no additional cost, in a move designed to close the gap between employee stress and clinical care by providing an accessible first point of support.

As reported by PR Newswire, the initiative was unveiled during Navigate's June Broker and Consultant Experiences and is available to eligible employers implementing Navigate by 1 January 2027. The coaching is delivered without copay, giving employees an approachable entry point to mental health support without the uncertainty of navigating clinical pathways first.

When coaching alone is insufficient, Navigate's health coaches help employees activate their employer's existing EAP, behavioural health, financial wellbeing, or other clinical resources, functioning as a bridge between everyday stress and formal clinical care rather than a standalone replacement for it.

Troy Vincent, founder and CEO of Navigate Wellbeing Solutions, said the initiative addresses a gap between employer investment and employee experience. He said: "Employees don't experience their health in categories. They experience stress, relationships, financial pressures, and everyday challenges all at once. Organizations have made meaningful investments in workforce health. Our role is to help employees take the next step with confidence so those investments become meaningful experiences that improve resilience, strengthen health, and create healthier workplaces."

Jennifer Musick, PharmD, vice president of clinical strategy at Navigate, said the coaching model is designed for employees who are not yet at the point of needing therapy. She said: "Many employees don't need therapy first. They need someone to help them navigate what's happening today. Coaching provides an approachable first step while connecting employees to clinical care whenever additional support is appropriate."

Navigate reported that its Mental Wellbeing Coaching delivers strong engagement outcomes, with 95 per cent of enrolled participants completing their coaching sessions and a 100 per cent participant satisfaction score.

The initiative also includes workforce mental health utilisation benchmarking, population risk insights, executive reporting, and annual impact reviews, giving employers clearer visibility into employee engagement and the effectiveness of their mental health investment over time.
