Kora HR has rebranded from Highfield HR, reporting turnover more than doubling in three years and forecasting a further 64% increase this financial year, with ambitions to double again by the year ending April 2028. No deal consideration applies, as this is a rebrand and growth update rather than a transaction.
Kora HR is a Bridgend-based HR consultancy co-founded by directors Jayne Symons and Leanne Yau, having grown from three to eight specialists since 2023. It supports around 150 businesses each month, covering approximately 6,500 employees across manufacturing, hospitality, care, construction and professional services sectors. Financial figures beyond the reported growth rates are not publicly disclosed.

The strategic logic centres on productising HR delivery. Kora HR's shift from a traditional outsourced model to subscription-based packages, with a flat monthly fee, no long-term contracts and team-based rather than single-adviser support, targets SMEs that want predictable costs and faster response.
Jayne Symons, director, said the growth reflects "genuine demand for that kind of expert, accessible help" as employers face "employment law changes, rising costs and growing expectations from their people." Leanne Yau, chartered CIPD professional and director, added that the broadened service range and team model put the business "in a strong position as we scale."
The rebrand and strategic planning were supported by the Business Wales Accelerated Growth Programme, which works with ambitious, growing Welsh firms on scaling strategy and brand development, underlining how public growth support is increasingly shaping private-sector service innovation.
For the HR consultancy sector, the model signals a shift from generalist single-adviser retainers toward scalable, subscription-based, team-delivered support, with growth increasingly pursued through service expansion and acquisitions rather than organic headcount alone. As regulatory complexity and cost pressure persist, more SME-focused providers look likely to follow a similar productised path.
