Juracy Antunes, Head of HR at the National Screening Service Ireland and founder of GetHired.ie, joins the judging panel for the HR Leadership & Management Awards 2026, bringing international experience in recruitment, career development, and diversity and inclusion across healthcare, public service, and multinational sectors.

As a board director, author, and speaker fluent in multiple languages, he brings cross-cultural insight and practical expertise in supporting career progression and inclusive workplace practices to evaluate HR initiatives that drive talent development and organisational inclusion.

With a Brazilian-Irish background and career spanning international organisations including the World Health Organization (WPRO), Juracy brings global perspective grounded in practical experience. At WPRO, he supported workforce planning, learning and development, organisational change, and recruitment initiatives across multiple countries, positioning him to understand the complexities of managing talent in geographically dispersed, culturally diverse environments.

Beyond his core HR leadership role, Juracy's board involvement with organisations including TENI, Grow Mental Health, and the Irish Penal Reform Trust demonstrates commitment to governance, organisational development, and diversity and inclusion initiatives extending beyond commercial HR practice. His authorship of two career guidance books—Navigating Ireland: Building Your Dream Career and Navigating Your Career: A Comprehensive Guide to Unlocking Your Professional Potential, reflects his focus on supporting international job seekers and career progression.

As a regular speaker at GradIreland, Jobs Expo, and community initiatives focused on careers, leadership, and inclusion, Juracy actively shapes discourse around talent development and inclusive workplace culture beyond traditional HR settings. His fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, with French currently in development, strengthens his capacity to evaluate HR initiatives in culturally diverse organisations.

As an awards judge, Juracy evaluates submissions through the lens of inclusive talent management, career development, and cultural sensitivity. His assessment focuses on HR initiatives that support diverse talent pathways, create accessible progression frameworks, and demonstrate authentic commitment to inclusion across organisational practice.
