JLL HR leaders reshape workforce management with AI integration

Global real estate firm JLL is accelerating its shift towards AI-led human resources, guided by HR leaders Megan Kleinick and Jane Curran. Together, they are reimagining HR as a data-driven, technology-enabled function designed to enhance employee experience while improving operational efficiency.

Kleinick, who oversees more than 30 HR technologies, focuses on optimising systems and scalability, while Curran ensures adoption through change management and process discipline. Both agree that strong data governance and human oversight are the cornerstones of effective AI deployment. “Robust processes lead to better data, and that leads to really good AI,” Curran said.

Their approach was tested through HiredScore, an AI recruitment tool introduced in India to handle high applicant volumes. Its success led to a global rollout, with recruiters reporting higher productivity and satisfaction. Training, clear communication, and behaviour change were key to sustaining adoption, as the leaders emphasised that AI complements rather than replaces human roles.

JLL’s next phase includes Ask HR, a generative AI assistant that automates policy responses and internal mobility recommendations. The company is also exploring AI agents to support onboarding and skills development—initiatives designed to scale global HR operations without expanding headcount.

Through disciplined integration and leadership alignment, Kleinick and Curran are steering JLL toward a future where technology amplifies human capability.
