Judge Profile
Dr Alan O'Neill to bring culture and change expertise to HR Leadership & Management Awards 2026 judging panel
Dr Alan O'Neill, Managing Director of Kara Change Management, joins the judging panel for the HR Leadership & Management Awards 2026, bringing over 30 years of international advisory experience in culture alignment, strategy execution, and organisational transformation.
As a judge, he will assess the authenticity of cultural change initiatives, evaluating how values translate into lived employee experience and measurable business outcomes across award entries.
With a doctoral background combined with extensive commercial experience, Dr O'Neill has supported organisations across sectors in embedding culture as a strategic driver rather than a peripheral HR concern. His published work on culture, change management, and leadership has shaped thinking within the practitioner community, bridging academic rigour with real-world organisational challenges.
His involvement strengthens the judging panel's capacity to evaluate entries across culture-related categories including workplace awards, change management, engagement strategies, and leadership development, where authentic cultural impact represents the critical differentiator between programmes that deliver lasting organisational benefit and those that remain surface-level initiatives.
The HR Leadership & Management Awards 2026 ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 15th, 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry. Entries remain open until June 19th, 2026, with finalists announced August 17th.
Organisations preparing submissions are encouraged to reflect on how their initiatives demonstrate authentic cultural embedding, leadership alignment, and measurable impact on employee experience and business outcomes. Dr O'Neill's presence on the judging panel signals the awards' commitment to rigorous evaluation of substantive culture change rather than isolated HR programme excellence.
Visit the official HR Leadership & Management Awards website to review award categories, access entry guidance, and explore past winners.
Submit your achievements before the June 19th deadline to have your cultural transformation initiatives assessed by this year's expert judging panel.
