Cumbrian HR consultancy marks growth with expanded people management team

Precision HR Limited, a UK-based human resources consultancy founded in Cumbria, has marked its second year of operations with team expansion and client growth that underscores demand for accessible people management support amongst small and medium-sized enterprises.

According to Business Crack, the firm now supports more than 40 clients across Cumbria and neighbouring regions following its 2024 launch by Rebecca Bird, a former managing director with over a decade of senior leadership experience.

The consultancy has added three specialist team members focused on learning and development, neuroinclusion, and HR advisory services. Precision HR has also formed a partnership with Foxgroves Recruitment to deliver integrated HR and recruitment services.

Bird said small businesses require practical guidance rather than theoretical frameworks. The firm positions its offering as commercially grounded advice designed to help employers manage workforce responsibilities with confidence.

The consultancy has integrated charitable giving into its business model, raising over £2,600 (€3,040) for Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria's Children's Hospice, through fundraising tied to new client acquisitions.

Precision HR has been shortlisted for the BECBC Awards 2025 in the Micro Business category. Bird received a nomination for Northern Power Women's "One to Watch" award, recognising emerging talent in the region's business community.

The firm plans further service expansion and technology investment to support client requirements in 2026. SME demand for outsourced people management expertise continues to grow as regulatory complexity and workforce expectations increase pressure on smaller HR functions.
