Citco’s HR Portfolio Management Team Named Best Specialist Team at the HR Leadership & Management Awards 2025

Citco’s HR Portfolio Management Team was named Best Specialist Team at the HR Leadership & Management Awards 2025 held last October, recognising the major operational improvements they delivered across the organisation. 

Formed in 2023, the six-member team has played a central role in reshaping how HR plans, tracks, and executes its work. By managing 30 active projects across five strategic programmes, they have supported Citco’s shift from a traditional support function to a structured, data-driven business partner.

A key part of their success lies in their adoption of JIRA, Smartsheet and a series of standardised processes that have improved collaboration between global HR teams. These tools allowed the team to establish consistent reporting methods, reduce duplication, and ensure that project information is accessible and measurable. 

Their systematic approach has strengthened HR’s ability to deliver initiatives efficiently and to scale improvements across multiple jurisdictions.

Judges commended Citco for using project and process discipline to elevate HR performance. They noted the team’s ability to translate operational challenges into structured programmes of work, empowering colleagues and creating a clear framework for project ownership. 

The team’s achievement reflects broader trends taking place within the HR Leadership & Management Awards, where winning organisations are increasingly defined by their ability to deliver measurable outcomes, adopt modern tools and respond to the evolving expectations of employees and business leaders.
