Caroline Browne, Managing Director of HRP Group, joins the judging panel for the HR Leadership & Management Awards 2026, bringing extensive experience in HR consultancy, employment law, and employee relations across both private and public sectors.

As a Chartered CIPD member and external Adjudicator with the Workplace Relations Commission, she brings practical, commercially focused expertise in evaluating HR initiatives that balance legal compliance, governance rigour, and sustainable people practice.

With a background spanning seven years as Senior Employee Relations Advisor at IBEC and ongoing consultancy across Ireland's leading organisations, Caroline has developed deep expertise in industrial relations, employment law, and dispute resolution.

Her academic credentials include a Primary Degree (Honours) in Mental Science from Trinity College Dublin and a Master of Business Studies (Honours) in Business Strategy and Human Resources Management from UCD Smurfit School, complemented by a Certificate in Workplace Adjudication from the National College of Ireland.

Caroline's recognition as a leading HR and employment relations expert extends beyond consultancy. She has served as an external Adjudicator with the Workplace Relations Commission following ministerial nomination and previously acted as an assessor on the Social Welfare Appeals Board. Her media contributions across RTÉ, Virgin Media Television, and Legal Island position her as a trusted voice on complex HR and workplace governance issues.

As an awards judge, Caroline brings critical scrutiny to submissions, assessing not only innovation and impact but also the sustainability and legal soundness of HR initiatives. Her focus on practical, commercially aligned solutions ensures that award recognition reflects programmes grounded in employment law compliance, fair governance, and realistic operational implementation rather than theoretical excellence alone.

Her involvement strengthens the judging panel's evaluation of entries across governance-sensitive categories including rewards strategy, workplace culture, recruitment practices, and diversity initiatives, where employment law compliance and ethical HR practice represent fundamental prerequisites for sustainable excellence.

The HR Leadership & Management Awards 2026 ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 15th, 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry. Entries remain open until June 19th, 2026, with finalists announced August 17th.
