This award recognises a specialist team within an organisation that has demonstrated exceptional expertise, collaboration, and impact within its area of focus. The team should show how its specialised work has contributed meaningfully to wider business goals and delivered measurable outcomes, both operationally and culturally. This award is open to, but not limited to, the following: Learning and Development teams, Training Teams, Payroll Teams, Reward and Recognition teams, Workforce Planning teams and In house Recruitment teams. Entries can focus on specific projects or ongoing work and should include evidence of cross-functional collaboration, innovation, and team development. Judges will be looking for content that reflects work and results achieved in the last 12 months.

  • Organisation & Team Background: Provide a brief overview of your organisation’s size and sector. Outline the structure, focus, and size of your specialist team, including where it sits within the organisation and how it collaborates with other departments or functions.
  • Sector & Team-Specific Challenges: Highlight any key challenges your sector or organisation has faced over the past year. Describe how those challenges impacted your team’s focus, priorities, or approach and how they were addressed
  • Team Role & Achievements: Team Role & Achievements: Explain the role of the specialist team during this period. What were its objectives? What innovative or strategic work did the team deliver? Highlight any standout achievements and how the team demonstrated agility or leadership in its area.
  • Impact on Employees or Internal Stakeholders: Impact on Employees or Internal Stakeholders: Provide evidence of the team’s positive influence within the organisation. This could include improved engagement, satisfaction, collaboration with other departments, or enhanced employee outcomes relevant to your team’s remit.
  • Contribution to Organisational Success: Demonstrate how the specialist team’s work supported broader business objectives. Include relevant metrics or evidence showing how its work impacted on successful outcomes.
