DPD Ireland Named Best Workplace Diversity Strategy Winner at HR Leadership & Management Awards 2025
DPD Ireland was named Best Workplace Diversity Strategy at the HR Leadership & Management Awards 2025 earlier this year for its Belonging at DPD – Inclusion in Action programme, recognised for embedding inclusion, equity and accessibility across the organisation.
The award acknowledges DPD Ireland’s comprehensive approach to workplace diversity, spanning multicultural recruitment, disability inclusion, neurodiversity awareness and gender equity.
Initiatives such as recruiting from accommodation centres, improving accessibility across facilities, and increasing gender representation have translated into tangible cultural and operational progress. These efforts have also been validated through external recognition, including Irish Centre for Diversity Bronze and Silver accreditations and Great Place to Work certification.
Judges praised the programme for moving beyond policy to deliver organisation-wide change. They highlighted strong leadership commitment, innovative tools and clear accountability structures that ensure inclusion is embedded at every level of the business.
“The Belonging at DPD framework demonstrates how diversity strategies can drive real, measurable progress when supported by leadership, data and consistent action,” the judges noted.
DPD Ireland’s recognition reflects broader trends within the HR Leadership & Management Awards, where leading organisations are increasingly distinguished by their ability to align people strategy with business performance while responding proactively to evolving workforce expectations. Diversity, equity and inclusion are now viewed as strategic enablers rather than standalone initiatives.
As attention turns to the 2026 awards cycle, DPD Ireland’s success sets a strong benchmark for organisations aiming to deliver inclusive cultures that are both authentic and results-driven. The question now is: which teams will lead the next wave of progress in workplace diversity and people leadership?
The HR Leadership & Management Awards will once again spotlight organisations raising standards across human resources in 2026. Visit the official website to explore past winners, view award categories and subscribe to the newsletter for updates and insights.
