While shortlisted candidates across 17 award categories will have to wait until the night of the HR Leadership & Management Awards 2018 ceremony to be held at the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin, on Thursday, March 8th, to find out if they are successful, one trophy recipient has already been named.
On Thursday, March 8th, Helen Tynan will receive the HR Leader 2018 award, sponsored by Morgan McKinley, in recognition of her outstanding contribution to HR in Ireland.
Helen Tynan is Director of People Operations for Google in Ireland - a site with approximately 3,500 employees and 150+ team members in People Operations, also known as HR.
She also acts as a HR Business Partner for the Global Advisory Functions with 1500+ employees across EMEA.
Helen joined Google in 2010, and has 20+ years prior experience in senior HR positions with multinational companies such as Dell, Oracle, General Electric, Creative Labs and Amdahl-Fujitsu.
