Head of the HR Strategy Unit, Department of Public Expenditure and Reform
Claire O’ Reilly is Head of the HR Strategy Unit at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform (DPER).
Claire is an accomplished HR Leader with extensive experience of developing and leading teams of HR professionals within the Private and Public Sector.
Prior to joining the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform in October 2018, Claire held various HR Leadership roles in Trinity College Dublin.
She held a number of leadership roles in eir including HR Change Manager, Resourcing Manager and Restructuring Lead. In these roles, Claire led the people elements of business strategy including Organisation Design & Change and Top Talent & Leadership.
Claire holds a Masters in Human Resource Management from University College Dublin and a Masters in Arts from Trinity College Dublin. Claire is also a qualified Coach, Mediator and a Chartered member of the CIPD.
