Lorraine Crawford

Lorraine Crawford is currently the Head of People and Organisational Development in the Health and Safety Authority. She has significant experience and qualifications in HR leadership roles across the Civil and Public Service, leading and embedding consistent and evidence-based HR expertise to support business leaders and people managers ensuring a continued focus on the people agenda.


Prior to her current role, Lorraine worked in the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, as programme lead for the design and implementation of a new HR Operating Model for the Civil Service to drive and further influence the HR transformation agenda across the civil and public service. 


Lorraine places a strong focus on collaboration to drive organisational development and excellence through people. She is passionate about harnessing the potential of all staff fostering an inclusive and supportive working environment. She is a strong advocate for life-long learning and holds first class honours degree in Human Resource Management as well as a CIPD Organisational Design and Development award level 9.
